Betty Earl, author, writer, photographer, lecturer and tour guide, resides in Naperville, IL, a western suburb of Chicago. She is a garden scout for Better Homes & Gardens magazines, a regional representative for The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program, and a master gardener. Her articles and photographs have appeared in various local and national magazines.
Betty formed a lasting love affair with gardening at a very early age. While working as an International Compensation Analyst, she found enjoyment and fulfillment in the seductive delights of the garden. A self-professed “plant nut”, she has never met a plant that she didn’t like.
When not writing, photographing, or speaking, she can be found “playing in the dirt” in the beds and borders surrounding her home.
